This semester is getting much better. The first month I got two Cs, a D, and suspected I failed a fourth exam. I replaced the D with a B, got a B on the "failed" exam, and went from a C to a B in astronomy. I am incredibly grateful to learn that studying more does ACTUALLY benefit your grades. I honestly believed for a minute (month) there that I would have to leave UVA. That was an awesome feeling, let me tell you. And I know everyone loves reading about my grades.

I am adopting a ferret that was used at UVA's medical center to test flu shots for this season. Something about its cause was omg so noble. Of course ferrets are natural predators for birds, but ferrets are nocturnal and the conures are diurnal so logistically speaking it shouldn't be a problem. Ferrets sleep ~20 hours a day, like most predators. That's fucking amazing.

Maybe I will put the ferret in the bird cage when they're bad.

There is so much more I want to say but I have to leave for class in THREE MINUTES!! Why did I start an entry three minutes before I had to leave? I...don't know.
